I have dabbled in the art of acrylic painting for most of my life, but it wasn't until I developed Parkinson's disease that I became what I considered to be a serious artist.

I was beyond blessed to have so many wonderful hobbies like painting in my life. As Parkinson's progressed, I quickly found the disease altering the quality of my life to the point where every aspect of it was becoming nearly impossible to manage. That's when I decided that I had to do something, so I picked painting and began forcing myself to paint no matter how undesirable the outcome.
It wasn't easy, and quite frankly it totally frustrated me. In time I learned that forcing myself to paint was actually helping to reduce the effects of Parkinson's. So I became determined to give painting my all. First came the encouragement, then came the comments and one day someone said, "You know, you should be selling these" and StuArt was born.

Gallery pieces on this site are as priced and include shipping. I also do commission work as well (Rates Vary) to bring any of your memories to life on canvas.
